Q.   How do I sign up for the GEAR UP Trust Fund Program?

A.   Get an application from the Site Coordinator, have you parents fill it out and then turn it in to the main office of your school. The trust fund application can be found on the Financial Information page.

Q.   Who is served by GEAR UP?

A.   Students in certain grades of Dixon and Farrer Middle Schools and Provo High School are served according to the following plan.

Q.   What types of services are promoted under the GEAR UP grant?

A.   GEAR UP is sponsoring programs at Farrer and Dixon Middle Schools, Provo High School and UVSC.  The programs are all centered around College Awareness and Preparation (both Academic and Financial).  They include programs like mentoring, tutoring (during class and after school), reading remediation, math remediation, summer school remediation, acceleration and enrichment, trust funds for college bound students, career and academic counseling, and many more.
